Turukano lost his wife Elenwë in the crossing the dangerous Helcaraxë and couldn't forgive her death to Fëanor`s sons .
It is a scene of quarrel between Turukano and Majtimo at the moment of delegation of power to Nolofinve.
Findekano plays a role of the peacemaker between best friend and brother.

Speed sketch.

Poor Fingon - forced to play peacemaker between his brother and his best friend. Wonderful job with their faces and postures: Turgon's anger, Fingon's weariness, Maedhros' silence.

Wow, this is beautiful. I especially loved the armor and clothing. Is this in one of the books? I read the Silmarillion, but the crossing of Helcarex was a tiny paragraph, much to my disappointment, but I've heard that the Book of lost tales 1 and 2 hold more detailed information so maybe there I'll see what happened.
Wonderful picture

It's funny how tiny Fingon suddenly looks between his tall brother and his tall cousin, when we're probably talking NBA heights for all of them ;)

Wonderful capture. I like how Maedhros is not even defending himself, as if accepting that he has earned Turgon's wrath - even though he would actually have gone back.

So... it so happened that I have seen Fingon such. Alas, I can`t think differently under compulsion :)

I really love that one! And I think Turgon hadn't love at all the way in which Fingon seems to protect Maedhros in this piece... :)

</3 I love everyone's expressions here; have I mentioned that I really like how you do hair? And I spy a very nicely done device there... :D

Is there a story somewhere that I can read to explain these? Or is this mythology of some sort?
