Hi, I'm tuuliky's friend and she delegated me some rights to answer people's questions and stuff, because my english is slightly better than hers... %) It's still handicapped, especially at grammar section, although.
So, about this picture. This is the moment they met Beren and Luthien. Celegorm hates Beren. He's trying to overcome his feelings, but there's a little he can do about this. So, he's turning his horse away and trying to pretend he doesn't see his "enemy".

It's great to see them all together. Does your Celegorm have silver hair or blond? I'm curious, almost every person pictures him differently and has got different interpretation of the word "fair".

Silver... I suppose that his hair were silver, like Miriel's, because all other his known ancestors were red or black-haired, and no one had golden hair...

The same choice as Ivanneth did That's most logical idea if he was to be non-dark haired (and not red haired, though his hair might be on a boirder of red and blond). He is described as golden haired with gleaming hair in 'Lays of Beleriad', but so much was changed since that time in Tolkien's legendary that we can't be sure if Tolkien would keep him blond or not.
We know nothing on Miriel's ancestors, given her silver hair at least one of them had to be Telerin. But anyway I think Tolkien didn't care of science while giving hair color to his characters
My Celegorm has got golden hair, from light to dark gold depending on my mood, mainly because of fan fiction I've red where he had such hair If not that I guess I would follow the silver idea, too - and Ivanneth would be the one to blame for that, I love her rendering of Celegorm.
